SAM Website Redesign

Transforming a start-up's online presence through a user-centric website redesign, focusing on intuitive design and seamless user experience.

Project Overview

We led the digital transformation for a start-up tech company focused on enhancing autonomous mobility safety.

The primary goal was to redesign their website to reflect the company's innovation and clearly convey their solutions in various fields such as drones, eVTOL, autonomous cars, and jets. Despite having an initial website, it was insufficient due to various issues. Therefore, we embarked on designing the entire website from scratch, addressing these challenges to meet the stakeholders' requirements.

What did we do?

We conducted a thorough analysis of the start-up's existing website and user needs, identifying key areas for improvement.

Based on these insights we completely redesigned the website from the ground up, focusing on creating a user-centric, intuitive interface that effectively showcases the company's expertise in autonomous mobility safety.

The redesign process included developing a robust information architecture, crafting a sophisticated design system with reusable components,  and ensuring the site was responsive across various devices. We also collaborated closely with the development team to implement these changes, ensuring technical precision and alignment with the company's vision.

Initial design critique

  • Inconsistency with Product Tone and Color Scheme: The website's color palette does not align with the overall tone and branding of the company's products.
  • Poor Responsiveness: The website underperforms in responsiveness.
  • Lack of User Engagement: The website fails to effectively engage users.
  • Unclear Visual Flow: The website lacks a clear visual hierarchy and flow.
  • Users may find it challenging to navigate through the site or understand the sequence in which they should consume the information.
  • Non-Standard Design Elements: The design of the website does not adhere to standard web conventions.

Solutions

We first harmonized the color scheme with the company's branding and product tones, setting a visually appealing and representative foundation, while ensuring consistency in grids and spacing for a cohesive layout.

Next, we focused on enhancing the site's responsiveness, adapting layouts and navigation for seamless functionality across various devices, thus ensuring consistent user access.

Subsequently, we amplified user engagement through interactive elements and engaging content, tailored to audience interests.

We then established a clear visual flow, organizing content with logical and intuitive design elements, guiding users effortlessly through their journey.

Lastly, we aligned the design with established web standards, striking a balance between creativity and familiarity to create a user-friendly, easily navigable website.
